There is an additional fee for any emergency after normal working hours.
Post operation instructions after extraction
Bit on moist gauze for 2 hours after etraction.
After two hours of applying pressure (bitting) you may remove the gauze.
Do not smoke for afull 48 hours after the extraction.
Do not spit and do not suck through a straw for the next 24 hours.
Do not drink anything with carbonation for the next 24 hours. (pop, beer, etc)
Stay on a soft diet for the new 24 Hours.
No Chips or anything that might lodge in the extraction site.
If medication is prescribed take it after you have had something to eat, this is to prevent nausea.
When taking pain medication we advise you not to drive due to drowsiness from the medication.
To prevent swelling place an ice pack on your cheek. leave it on 15 minutes and take it off for 15 minutes, do this during the first 24 hours after the extraction.
After 24 hours, if swelling is present we advise usign warm moist heat on the site of the swelling. (warm washcloth) Leave this on for 15 minutes and take it off for 15 minutes.
After 24 hours begin warm salt water rinses.
Repeat several times a day.
